Even the Americans are now convinced: Wine is healthy! Even the Americans are now convinced that moderate wine consumption is healthy. According to Wine Spectator, a new study from the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently confirmed that moderate alcohol consumption should be part of a healthy lifestyle. The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans includes advice such as not smoking, doing regular exercise and eating healthy… There is now also a section on the benefits of moderate alcohol consumption. The organisation concluded that if you follow all the rules, but don't drink alcohol, the risk of death will be minimised 55%, but it will be minimised by a whopping 63% for the moderate wine drinker!
